Post subject:  Spreeing

I'd just like to remind members of a rule that hasn't been publicised since the Great Hacking™. This might be new to some of the more recent members, so please read carefully.

Please do not spree. Spreeing is posting two or more posts directly in succession in the same thread.

This is for two reasons. Firstly, it is difficult to follow a thread where someone is spreeing and secondly, posting solely to increase post count is discouraged. Spreeing can often be a symptom of this.

If you think of further detail that you want to add, you should edit your post instead of creating a new one. You can do this by clicking on the "edit" button above it (beside the date). If you feel that the new information is very important and you would like to draw attention to it, you may delete the post and repost it with the new information - this way the orange tags signifying a new message will reappear.

Exceptions to this rule: if a week or more has elapsed from the previous post; after an unusually long section of drabble.

This rule applies in all fora.
