Sorry to hear that you're suffering: hope the pain eases up soon. At least the op's over and done with x.

Hope everyone is feeling better. Hugs to everyone who needs them! I am very nervous as I am going to resign tomorrow - right decision but very nerve-wracking (and the stress of how the meeting will go is affecting my sleep).

Good luck. Handing in your notice is stressful, but you've made the decision now. Hope it goes OK.

Very best of luck, roversgirl - I suppose, as Anthony Powell has a military character say "It'll pass, sir, like other days in the army",

Best wishes to all those recovering from operations or having health problems.

Good luck roversgirl. Facing a similar situation a few years ago, I was a bag of nerves but once I got the words out and handed my resignation letter over, I had an enormous sense of relief. It was definitely the right decision and I hope it all works out similarly for you.

Thanks all, it will indeed pass, hopefully feel better once it's over, and it is definitely the right thing for me. Just one more nerve-wracking night to get through! :-)

Oh, roversgirl, I'm so sorry. You were so looking forward to that job. Good luck for the meeting - and for this last nerve-wracking night! - and also for afterwards, trying to find another job.

Sleep well....

For some reason, when I composed a second response after roversgirl posted another piece as I was writing, I decided to delete that and write another - but this one didn't delete and the other one is below. I tried to delete that one and was told it doesn't exist! Help! Anyone ides how to get rid of that one? :dontknow:

I'm not seeing another one after this, so it must have cleared when you closed down.

Good luck Roversgirl. I went through the same thing last May. It was the right move and I am so happy in my new job. Fingers Crossed for you and hugs xx

Thank you all! The meeting itself actually went relatively well (although normal service resumed later in the day!) and I am now relieved. Now I need sleep and a good book! :-)
