I have been on here for a few months now, but have only just got round to introducing myself! So here goes:

Name: Fizzan (Emily)

Age: 16 - (currently panicking about GCSE's!)

Location: Oxfordshire

SLOCs/children/pets/imaginary friends: None of the first two, but I have dogs and multiple imaginary friends!

Favourite and least favourite books and characters: I tend to lean towards the early Switzerland era, with Theodora probably being my favourite book. I also rather like OOAO Mary-Lou, and before I joined the board it had never occured to me that people might find her annoying!

How you got into the Chalet School: My Mother had a very battered copy of Island and after reading that and getting extremely confused, I found some more in a second hand book shop and got hooked.

How you found the CBB: I searched Chalet School forum and this is where I ended up!

Hello Emily!

Nice to meet you, good luck with Exams etc.
I was just the same about Mary Lou, I have always liked her. It didn't occur to me to find her annoying either.

Hi Emily! I'm another panicking about exams but two years ahead of you, and really shouldn't be on here, but there's a limit to the amount of Chemistry that will go in in one go!

Yeah I agree with that! I always seem to end up on here when I'm meant to be revising.

Hi Emily. Nice to meet you and welcome to the board.

From someone who took O Levels rather more years ago than she cares to remember - I just realised it was 40 years ago!

Welcome, Emily! It's far too scary I took my GCSEs 14 years ago. Also at the age of 11, our school and another school were the guinea pig schools for SATs.
