Name: Sandra, posting as Oxfordshire Lass. I was a member years ago but fell by the wayside. Have started re-reading though and remembered the CBB.

Reading a story in the Sally Denny library I came across a comment about 'patience being a virtue, but who wants to be virtuous' which I thought sounded like something that I would say and when I checked to see who had posted it, it was me with my old username.

Age: old enough to know better but not old enough to be wearing purple

Location: user name says it all

Favourite characters/books: I have a distinct fondness for the Armishire books, favourite characters are the quiet ones such as Frieda, Verity and Sybil

Least favourite characters/books: I think that the plot lines get a bit silly at the end of the series (Adrienne, two Sams etc) and least favourite characters are those that don't think about the feelings of others or think that they are always right - Joey (sometimes), Mary-Lou (often)

How I discovered the Chalet School - read the Armada paperbacks as a girl and have gone back to the series over the years although I now try to read copies of the originals.
