It was a bright winters day, Jack Maynard was away in Berne, Joey had her friends of tea and Rosali was not a happy bunny. She had gained enough English to know that Joey had been laughing at her heavy footsteps as she came to collect baby cecil and the first twins for their tea and she was none too happy about it1 As a baby Rosali had had a polio infection so had been lucky to escape infantile paralysis, that was the cause of her slight limp and hence heavy footsteps. Rosali resovlved to pay her mistress back for the unkind remarks, after the childrens tea she decided to take them for a wal, 'Good bye Mrs Maynard, we shall be abck soon, the children are wrapped up warmly!' called the coadjutor in pretty german. 'thanks!' Joey called in reply, to caught up in discussing Mary-Lou to be concerned about the irregularity of it. An hour later.... 'Mrs Maynard, Mrs Maynard, Felix and Cecil have been lost!' (butt in and continue people!)
