mmm... sadly, the doctors at my local surgery all seem to be women (influenced by the college I'm att, maybe?) with one (totally undesirable) exception, so I'm afraid I can't help there...

All the male  doctors at our surgery are youngish,  married, with children. However, yesterday when I suggested that the NHS sent me to the Seychelles or the Maldives for six months to try to cure my chronic chest infections, the doctor replied that I could only go if he went along as my personal physician. Sadly, I think that this was more to do with his air of absolute exhaustion than the charms of a 58 year old grandmother.

And at the risk of bringing this conversation back on topic (!!), to answer Liss' original question:

1) No, you haven't missed my posting the Promises Kept sequel.
2) I've been on holiday for the last two weeks, but apart from the toxic gunk that United consider to be a snack, I've been nowhere near any soft cheese.
3) Vikki is quite right; it's not written yet. I'm hoping to be able to make a start on it fairly soon. Just as soon as I get a few things cleared down. (I'm currently working on three different parts of my non CS work and planning two other sections!)
