Title: Evil EBD's Worst Nightmare... Post by KB on Nov 9th, 2003, 10:56pm KB, the Staff Baby, entered her German class and smiled at the girls, who had risen to their feet. "Danke, Mary," she said to the girl who was holding the door. "Guten Morgen." "Guten Morgen," the class chorused back. "Setzen Sie sich," KB directed, and the class sat down. "Now," she began, continuing to speak in slow and careful German so that the girls would all understand, "today we are going to have a creative writing lesson. You were all at the old Chalet School and have heard what happened to EBD. Today, you are to write what you think might be happening to her now. The best stories will be published, so make sure you write well. You will also have a chance to do this in both your French and English creative writing classes, so don't use up all your ideas today." The girls beamed at this idea. Being in the Senior Form, they knew exactly what EBD had planned to do to them, and many of them also understood the anomoly (sp?) of EBD's situation, knowing that she would have to suffer through what they wrote. Eagerly, they began to write as KB got the large German-French-English dictionary from the cupboard at the back of the room and set it up on its stand. |

Has anyone ever read John White's 'Tower of Geburah'? The girl there (her name's Lisa!) has been offered lots of gorgeous gooey food- big choccie puddings etc. Then she finds she's not full- it was only 'wish food' that she could taste and smell, but it wouldnt fill her. (not a bad idea, that) Anyway she wanted to wash her hands and face and was offered a lovely shower. When she came out, she was as dirty and as stick as ever- it was a wish shower that felt like a real shower but wouldn't clean! Maybe something like that would do for EBD... |
