Title: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Robin_Humphries on Sep 18th, 2003, 11:53pm
Welcome to the virtual Chalet School!

You cannot post unless you are a member of the school proper! But I am prepared to be flexible and allow a mixture of girls from the different eras of the schools' evolution.

Once there are enough people here, we should be able to offer each other support and companionship - only those of us managing to cross over will ever truly appreciate just how bad it was to live under the direct control of EBD. Those of us able to escape her clutches owe it to those who can't to make the most of the opportunities we now have, to go out and explore real life, and share our new experiences with one another.

Hurry off and get your new name, and then welcome back!

Me too.  Feeling a bit grotty at the moment, though.  I think that's from when I jumped into the pond on a school trip.

And may I say, my dear, that they look lovely. How's your father?

And Carola, you're welcome to wash in any of Freudesheim's six bathrooms. How are your parents?

Thank you.  My parents are fine and safe in Africa.  Thank you for the use of your bathroom.  Please don't give me any hot milk though!

I feel I should be weloming you all with some words of wisdom, But blow that, enjoy real life I certainly am!

I have put something aside to but you all books, so no pestering. I will be open to bribes however.

I now own a credit card, very interesting thing. I can spend without needing money. I'm sure there must be a catch somewhere but the ravishing man who signed me up for it didn't seem to think so. It is such a useful item, as is the ornamental frog, the spotted bikini, the dolce and gabbana shoies, the diamond bracelet, the polar fleece, the ... well I can't understand how I lived without all these little items. I mean everyone needs a fork lift truck these days according to the nice young man from JCB...

I've just been finding out all about a wonderful thing called "ebay" - do you think I'll get much for several years worth of nun's habits?

I need to sell them to get money for my new navel piercing which one of those lovely CBBers suggested - but I'm also considering a rather fetching tattoo.

By the way, Madge and Joey, is there anything left of my inheritance money from my father??

Hey Con! I'm safe too! Have you seen anything of Margot?
Oh, and Auntie Rob, I think Mamma and Papa used your money to pay our uni fees! Sorry!

Title: Re: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Madge on Sep 19th, 2003, 12:26pm
I'll buy another fleece for Carola if she needs it. Order whatever you need Carola and send me the bill.

Robin, EBD spent your inheritance, she said that as a nun mustn't have any money she was giving it to Jack and Jem in trust. They spent some of it on Adrienne, but EBD took a dislike to her for some reason so she drifted out of the books. Then EBD simply had J and J donate your money where she thought it should go. Sorry child. Still, who needs money when we have these nice bits of plastic.

Can anyone explain to me why I keep getting phone calls from  'debt collection' agency. I don't owe anyone any money. It has always been a policy of mine. Still I gave them Jems address and they went away. Men do still have their uses even here.

Title: Re: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Robin_Humphries on Sep 19th, 2003, 12:37pm
I have taken your advice Madge and now have about fifteen pieces of plastic. The nice man I spoke to said they were a little concerned over what he called my "income/outgoings ratio" but I told them that Joey and Jack always deal with the financial side of things so he has worked it somehow that I no longer have to worry. I think he mentioned the term "guarantors" but I wasn't actually paying much attention by that point.

Now that I have these pieces of plastic, does anybody fancy coming shopping with me and help me to work out how to use them?

Oooh Robin I'd just love to come! I think I'll get my hair cut while we're at it. A nice bob would do me right down to the ground and no need to worry about little accidents on school expeditions!

Banshee stories, anyone? But do make sure Bill is nowhere around. Sleeping with her once was quite bad enough!

Hello Robin! Hello everyone!

Can I come shopping too? I've always liked shopping!

And if you're going to get your hair cut, I think I fancy some of those, what do they call them... highlights? I've always thought brown was such a boring hair colour. Do you think blonde would suit me?

Title: Re: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Betsy_Lucy on Sep 19th, 2003, 2:24pm
Please Madame (stops to curtsey), may I come shopping as well.  I'd really love something to make me taller.  Is there anything that would help me be less 'puckish' .  I'm fed-up with being a 'plain Jane'.  I want to be pretty <pouts>.  EBD would never let me be pretty :'(

Title: Re: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Carola on Sep 19th, 2003, 2:45pm
I wonder if I'll be able to think things through now?  I did get so fed up of saying 'I didn't think'!  You'd expect to grow out of that by the time you're in the Sixth, wouldn't you?

Please be careful with those funny bits of plastic.  I'm sure that there's a catch to them.  Remember that you don't get something for nothing, whatever century it is.

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if I could be in charge of making repairs to Madame's JCB - I'm now a fully trained mechanic despite EBD's attempts to make me marry a doctor and have kids - I managed to escape her evil clutches!

How is everyone?  I'm afraid things are a bit collywest with me at the moment.

Post by Grizel on Sep 19th, 2003, 3:09pm

Right girls, all those coming shopping with me, hurry up and finish your lunch and we'll be off!

I've had a shop mentioned to me that sounds a good placeto start. I'm not quite sure yet what it sells, but judging from it's name, it's probably a sesonal store.

All those who want to come shopping, but haven't finished lunch (or work!) you cann meet us at Ann Summers at half past.

Oooh, that sounds like a nice name for a shop. Wonder if they do nice frocks?

And no, I don't seem to have got younger, but at least I've got away from Neil. All that temper EBD gave me and then I suddenly had to 'surrender' meekly! I've been SO confused  :-/ :)

By the way, can I borrow those iron-things for my hair Richenda?  ;D ;D

Hello!  I just found out that everyone was here.  Has anyone seen my mother, or has she left?  I've just had a terribly worrying phone call from Daddy, something about credit cards and bailiffs trying to remove all the furniture.  He thinks she must have managed to escape from her carer again.  Last time she did that, Daddy found all these boxes of Polartec fleeces in the garage.  It's all very worrying.

Daddy's only just got over the shock of finding out about Peggy leaving Giles and moving in with the young man who came to install their swimming pool.  Speaking of which, has anyone seen Peggy around here?  I really need to tell her about Mother...

I've been to Anne Summers already. KB took me there. It was very interesting. They had some lovely underwear and some very enlightening books.

I'm enjoying this new freedom.

Jack you are welcome to see to my JCB, in fact I think I will need a mechanic, I seem to have aquired several vehicles, including a strange looking one called a quod bike.

Bride dear stop worrying. A young man who I met on a street corner has introduced me to some wonderful cigarette things that make you feel so relaxed. They have to be hand rolled to get the proper effect he tells me, so that is why they are more expensive and don't have any brand name. They do smell queer though. I'll send you some of the smokes.

Must go now there is a policeman knocking at the door.

Hello Joey, and Madame and everybody else. I'm so glad I found you here. I was too late to meet you all to shop, as I was having a makeover. I'm sick of being meek and mild, and a peacemaker, so I've reinvented myself. I believe they call it "being a a wild child" these days. I don't know, but it's much more fun! Have you seen Marie, she was going to come with me, but she didn't turn up at our meeting place.

Well, I had a very interesting time out shopping, but having returned home, I realise I didn't purchase batteries . . .

. . . my new torch is lovely though, so I will be popping back out to the shops very soon.

Title: Re: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Madge on Sep 19th, 2003, 10:25pm
Robin, why do you need a torch?  What is wrong with the lights at your place? I hope you are not going out after dark?

I've spent the evening surfing the net. There are some very interesting sites out there and I think that it is time the curriculum was brought a little more up to date. The trouble is that there are so many ideas of what we should teach. Mind you I searched for 'young ladies' and some of the sites I looked at were not quite what I had in mind. Are there any staff members out yet with any ideas of what you would like to teach.

Madge, any idea what "maxed out" means in relation to those pieces of plastic money???

Title: Re: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Madge on Sep 19th, 2003, 11:11pm
No idea Robin. It has happened to one or two of mine. I just throw them away and get another one. There are so many around. Did you know you can also get them from all ypu favourite stores as well. OK, maybe not your favourite, but certainly from a lot of shops.

I've just had a very interesting encounter. I went along to the beach and met a young man who has introduced me to somthing called surfing. It beats skating anyday. He has sugested that I try bungee jumping next. Do any of you know what that is?

Thanks for letting me look at your JCB Madge.  It's very interesting!  It will be a pleasure to look after all your mechanical things.  Anyone else got some cars needing looking at?

I'd love to teach the girls how to fix a car.  It's the kind of thing they should know so they don't need to depend on our male oppressors to do it!

I'm so glad I escaped from that young doctor!

Post by Bride on Sep 19th, 2003, 11:44pm
Mother, please!  You have to stop gallivanting around like this and come home!  I've just found Daddy in a terrible state.  The men from the debt-collection agency have towed away his Aston Martin.  And the police came round to ask me about a package you'd left in the hall, apparently the sniffer dogs were very interested in it.

Then I had a phone call from someone called Max at the Big Wave Surf School - apparently you left half of your spotted bikini at the beach.  I don't even want to think about which half it was.  Be reasonable, Mother, you have to act your age.  You even missed the meeting of the Townswomen's Guild you were supposed to be chairing yesterday.

I still haven't managed to find Peggy, but I'm sure she'd agree with me.

I just thought I'd check no one's objecting too strongly to my oily overalls!  Afterall, you all seem to be buying lots of new clothes, but I must assure you that overalls are by far the best thing for messing around with engines and they really don't stay clean for two minutes.  What would Matey think?!  Come to think of it, has anyone seen Matey recently?  Has she managed to escape from EBD's clutches?

Len May- Entwhistle, what an awful attitude you show towards your husband! And what are you doing here, anyway? In your condition, you should be resting. I wouldn't want anything to happen to my first grandchild!

As for Sybil, I've done my share of butting in with her and I'm not going to do it again. I have my own problem children and I'll leave Madge to deal with hers.

Sybil Russell - of all the spoilt brats!

May I point out to you child that EBD murdered my father in cold blood to ensure I would be tied to Madge and Joey so much more closely? Papa had wanted to take me away with him away from Austria, but as soon as EBD got wind of it, she sent him off climbing.

I think you are very unkind saying I don't belong to this family, and perhaps it would suit you far better if I was to go back to that convent in Canada.

Tough luck! I'm out, I'm staying out and I'm going shopping!

Well done Robin.

Sybil, how dare you speak to Robin like that. I am ashamed to have you as my daughter, maybe I would be better of with Bride, especially as she seems to want me for her her mother.

I wonder if Mollie would do a swap?

Welcome Tom. Maybe we should add an engineering course to the syllabus. Or carpentry. You and Jack get your heads together and decide what you can both do. Of course that will mean some workshops...

....and a hot tub, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi's ect. After all we will need to clean up after all that oil won't we, and this would be the best way to do it.

I'll talk any way I like without leave from you, you weak, petted little madam. At least I didn't wear pinafores until I was in my teens and get tiptoed around as if I was so fragile that I was going to break. And I don't use my childish nickname now that I'm into adulthood. I've at least grown up that much.

And I suppose the poor baby will now need someone to sing 'The Red Sarafan' to help cheer it up. Awww!  :P

Robin has been part of this family for longer that you have and on present form is likely to remain a member, whereas you...well, if you do not apologise to Robin immediatly I will stop all your credit cards. Hi Tom!
Yes, of course you can help me!  You know that tale about me in 'Jane' where I was fighting with her - well, it's not actually true, EBD made it up, I'm actually only too happy to find other people taking an interest in mechanical things!

I think we should teach the girls some engineering - I specialise in mechanical engineering myself but know more than the basics of civil, nuclear, electronical and so on...  I think the girls would enjoy bridge building and maybe making radios.  What do you think Tom?

Sounds like a great idea, Jack. It seems that more women now hold these jobs. So the more CS ones we train just imagine what we can do to the world.

Hi everyone, remember me? I used to be Ted. I use my middle name, Rosemary now.

Thank God I got away from that EBD woman. I still don't get on with Mother, but now it's because I look a lot different. She can't get used to the idea that I'm quite attractive now, and have nice hair, and a good hairstyle.

Just to bring you up to date. I finally came into my inheritance from my father, so as soon as I'd signed the papers, and got my own bank accounts, I came over here to join you all.

If any CBB'ers are out there in cyberspace at the moment, I'd like to say a big thank you for releasing me from my awful life.

I took a degree in History, and I trained to teach, so if you need another History teacher who knows all the modern methods, I'm your woman. Good to say that at last, I was sick of perpetual girlhood.

By the way, I've made sure that EBD can't come to Australia to ruin our lives again. Isn't cyberspace a wonderful invention.

I logged onto the New Scotland Yard Website, and managed to give her several convictions for drug-dealing, and added a note that she was believed to be in hiding in Switzerland.

Well, get in touch, and we'll all have some fun. I've got lots of plastic that's screaming for exercise, and I just love shopping.

See you all very soon.

PS. Does anyone have the Abbess's email address? I want to let her know that she'll be safe over here.

You don't think I really consider Dick and Mollie Bettany to be my parents, do you?  I hardly saw them until I was a teenager!  Then, thanks to EBD, they suddenly turned up from India and dragged us away from the Russells who had brought us up.  I was seeing a counsellor for years to get over all the trauma.

Personally I blame our dysfunctional parents for Peggy's behaviour.  I mean to say, running off with the pool boy at her age...I'm still trying to get in touch with her if anyone knows where she is.

The only thing that spoiled my relationship with Madge and Jem was the ghastly Sybil.  She needs a good smack if you ask me.  Sybil, if you're there, shut up NOW or I will tell everyone about what I caught you doing that time at the Round House - so there!

Sybil, I am very sorry to have to do this, but I have cancelled all your credit cards. Your bills will no longer be met by your father, and I for one will not be pulling any more strings for you. I know you think I never did, but let me tell you, Hilda would have kept you in second form forever if I hadn't insisted you move up, you never would work would you, even at school. Well you will have to work now if you want to eat, I know it sounds harsh, but it is time you grew up a little and realised that you cannot treat people the way you do.

Now, everyone else, I need some fun to put the taste of that out of my mind. I saw that bungee advert too and it has put me right off, but I've heard of somthing called extreme ironing and thought I'd give it a try. Mind you I think any ironing is a bit extreme. Who would like to join me. I think it involves ironing on top of mountains or whilst being dropped from a plane, anything for an adventure as Joey would say.

And Mother, I don't need your money, or Daddy's. I have a job. One that pays several hundred, sometimes even a thousand, dollars a night, which is, incidentally, the reason I dye my hair. My customers like me to look perfect and match whatever little fantasies they might have.

Hello everybody!

Why is Sybil looking so pleased with herself?
(I never liked that girl, she always gave Auntie Madge such a lot of trouble - although being so sweet-natured I never let her get to me).

Isn't the weather gorgeous here in Australia?  I'm so glad I agreed to Julio's suggestion that we come on this little trip.  That's Julio over there, by the way, talking to Margot.  He's the tall, dark, good-looking one - very...um...well-built, isn't he?  We met when he came to put in our swimming pool.  Well, Giles has been very boring lately.  I wasn't worried about the age gap when we got married but he was looking positively white-haired the last time I saw him (he was reading my credit card bills at the time).

Of course, Julio is a few years younger than I am, but I've kept my looks pretty well, don't you think?  And my hair colour is still natural - unlike some people I can see around here.

Well, listen to me, prattling on.  I'll pipe down now, but it's so lovely to see you all.  Now, where did Julio get to?

Pegs!   There you are!  I've been frantic with worry.  Giles is threatening to do something desperate if you don't come home right now.

I'm glad I've found you all right, though.  You look great, although...do you think that outfit is quite suitable?  And have you seen what your pool boy is doing with Margot in that corner?  I may not approve of your relationship with him but I don't think he should be putting his hands where they are...and her a Catholic girl!

Oh Sybil.  I do feel sorry for you.   :-* :-*  Never mind dear, I'll pray for you.  That's probably all anyone can do until you see that money doesn't buy happiness.  Go on as you have been and you'll alienate yourself from your family, and then where will you be when you need them? And you think that will solve all your problems, do you? Is God going to come down and straighten out any mess you might be in, what with your profligate spending? I've already worked out what kind of a modern world this is, and frankly, I don't need my family. I have a steady income from my men, and my girlfriend loves me, so what more do I need?

Actually, Aunty Joey, we prefer the term escort or female gigolo.

And Robin, you weak little piece, just wait until you have to start paying back the money on those cards... *evil cackle*

(And in my own defence, I want to say that I'm not a totally bad person. I just thought we needed a villian on this thread, and as everyone already has such a low opinion of me anyway, thanks to that horrible EBD woman, it seemed easier to keep going like that. :'()

Hello everybody, and welcome to Australia.

You don't know how pleased I am to see you all, and not just for the pleasure of your company, although there is that too.
You do realise what this means though don't you?
EBDs limited influence in Australia has gone for good!
What do you mean she never had any?  Of course she did, why else do you think I was such an obnoxious little brat? And why do you think my father was heartless enough to send me to the other side of the world?
He is actually a very nice man and he would never dream of treating me like that.
Now, did someone say they saw Margot earlier?  We have so much to catch up on.
And Reg, I don't understand what you meant about you and Joey - it can't possibly be what I'm thinking, Auntie Joey would never do that, would she?

I think it time to remember the watchword I gave you all a long time ago, "BE BRAVE"  I know it took a bit of convincing to get EBD to let me say that, she wanted us to kowtow to the Germans, being afraid of what might happen to her I suppose.

Do not be afraid, remember we have all made it here, and we know what real life is like now. Don't let her evil get to you, and remember to continue to hope and pray for those who are still suffering.

The plan goes ahead the same.

Well, EBD already killed off my father in a most horrific way, so I don't see what worse things she can do to me.  Oh, and btw that whole episode was because my parents decided that they didn't want that obnoxious Joey and Robin combo visiting our house anymore.  Sorry Rob, it wasn't you it was just the way EBD made you act - those pinnies were rather annoying.

OH DEAR BRIDE, MY POOR CHILD. I MUST ADMIT I NEVER ACTUALLY WANTED YOU TO BE PLAIN AND BESPECTACLED, BUT IT HAD TO BE DONE.

CONSIDER FOR A MOMENT, YOUR PARENTS STAYED IN INDIA REFUSING ALL MY OFFERS OF DECENT PLOT LINES IN AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP AWAY FROM ME. THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET THEM TO AGREE TO RETURN WAS BY UTILISING THE WEAPONS IN MY ARESNAL, NAMELY YOU AND PEGGY.

DID IT NEVER STRIKE YOU AS STRANGE HOW YOUR LOOKS AND FORTUNES IMPROVED SO DRAMATICALLY ONCE YOUR PARENTS WERE IN ENGLAND? AND YOU CULD HAVE HAD LOOKS SURPASSING THAT AWFUL SYBIL (WHOSE MOTHER SOLD OUT IN HER DESPERATION TO HAVE THE BEST LOOKKING CHILD!)?

YOU, MY DEAR BRIDE, WERE ALWAYS MY FAVOURITE, AND I DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE FOR YOU.

NOW DON'T BE UNGRATEFUL, JUST BE GLAD THAT YOUR FATHER EVENTUALLY REALISED WHERE HIS PRIORITIES LAY AND RETURNED TO ME!

Title: Re: Chalet School Roleplay
Post by Madge on Sep 21st, 2003, 8:20pm
I most certainly did not sell out. EBD never allowed Sybil to become head girl, even though I wanted it. I blame EBD for a lot of sybils attitude. She wrote such dreadful things for the poor girl that eventually she ended up believing them. Josette was scalded because I remonstrated with her over her treatment of Hilda, she was going to kill them all in that crash, but I found out and sent Jem to help. Scalding Josette was her revenge. She may have allowed Josette to become headgirl, but she denied her that much desired year at Millies, and university career she should have had simply by sending her out to Austrailia and marrying her off.

It is very important to the plan that you do not believe any lies spread by this woman. Bride, you have always been pretty, no matter what EBD said. She is trying to divide us up and make us believe in her worls instead of the real world. Stand Firm girls.

MADGE, SYBIL NEVER BECAME HEAD GIRL PURELY BECAUSE YOU EXPECTED IT! I OWN YOU MY DEAR, NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND!

JOSETTE WAS SCALDED BECAUSE YOU GOT ABOVE YOURSELF ONCE MORE. YOU DID THAT RATHER A LOT BEFORE I EXILED YOU OFF TO CANADA - JUST BE GRATEFUL I HAVE NEVER YET ALLOWED THE QUESTION OF KEVIN AND KESTER'S FATHER TO ARISE. SUFFICE TO SAY, I MADE JEM VERY HAPPY WITH THAT STORYLINE, ESPECIALLY AS HE THOUGHT I WAS COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF HIS IMPOTENCE.

AND ALL YOU DEAR GIRLS, THERE WAS ALWAYS A REASON FOR EVERY STORY. SOME THINGS YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN UNAWARE OF TO BEGIN WITH, BUT IF YOU DIG A LITTLE DEEPER, YOU WILL SEE THAT I ALWAYS PERMITTED YOUR LIVES TO WORK OUT HAPPILY.AFTER ALL, WHEN I AM HAPY, YOU ARE HAPPY.

DON'T MAKE ME UNHAPPY . . .

And I can't see that you made my life happy, Witchy. No HGship, only being good at sewing, and I don't think I even got a potential husband, did I?

BTW, Bride and Peggy, I'm sorry I hit you. I'm sure that was all Witchy's fault, too.

I mean, I was very grateful to be pretty and blonde and Practically Perfect, but did you have to make me marry Giles?  And stick me with Polly and Lala Winterton as sisters-in-law (do you know how annoying those two are?) What did I ever do to deserve that?

Still, I've broken free of the whole Winterton clan now, and I'm veryhappy with Julio.  Admit it, EBD, there's nothing you can do to spoil my life now!

Bride, my lamb, now calm down. If you're going to get upset, at least have the good sense to wait until SHE'S gone. And I don't think you're ugly. You're a very pretty woman, and if you really believe EBD's claim that you were her favourite, you're not thinking properly. After all, who gave you eyestrain and made you wear glasses.

Hi there everyone, it's Ted AKA Rosemary.

I've met this really nice man! He's much older than I am, but he's so kind. After we'd talked for a while, he took me out to dinner.

When I explained what I was doing out here, he was very understanding and sympathetic, and said he'd like to see more of me.

He offered to buy me one of those luxury flats down near the harbour. Of course, I said no. But then I explained about having been brought up in a large house with ten bedrooms, and said that anything smaller wouldn't seem like a real home to me, especially as I need a large garden and paddocks and stabling for the horses, so he's bought me a big house with its own grounds. Isn't that kind of him? When are you all coming to stay?

By the way, don't worry about EBD, she can't come to Australia, and I've found out that she can only get us back if  she is actually physically near us. All  she can change is the past, and as we're in real life now,  she can't do a thing to us.

By the way, this nice guy, he's given me a platinum American Express Card as well, so I'm throwing a party on Saturday. You're all invited.

hi everyone, I'm back from my weekend away (whispers -I didn't really to to Montreux but it's good cover!)
Well, I shall catch up with you girls soon - I was going on a tour of the Antipodes when I was daft enough to drop into the Gornetz Platz to catch up with people!  EBD decided that I should marry a doctor, but I didn't want to get married, so I ended up in a car collision which kept me in the San for ages. I got to know a lot of nice doctors, but eventually I escaped by offering to go back with cousin Yvonne and the girls to that dreary Brettingham Park.  EBD didn't like it up there - much too cold and wet.  So I shall be in Australia very soon - and I'm not going via Switzerland either!

Just you wait until I get into the real world, Bridget O'Ryan!  EBD loved the poudre effect and never let me near the hair dye - personally I was rather fond of my natural colour.  It's all right for you with your masses of black hair.  And what makes you think I wanted you sleeping in my room anyway? You snore for a start!

You may find that you don't need the dye, Miss Wilson.  Robin's hair grew back when she reached the RW, I think, so your hair may return to it's natural clour once you're out of the influence.

I certainly experienced a change on getting out. EBD had made me so middle adged, and dull.

When I went to Canada I found that being away from the school agve me a new breath of life, but when I started trying to influence the story, having Joey come to join me for instance then EBD wrote in the Blue Nuns. I thought for one dreadful moment that she was going to keep me in the convent for the rest of my life, as she tried to with poor Robin.

She kept a tighter control on me after that, but I'm so gald that we are managing to escape now. Have you heard about the San escaping, along with all the associated people and girls. That was the best news we have had in a little while. Jem especially is pleased, having the San here seems to be doing him some good. At least he has stopped sulking about those credit card bills.

Oooooh that was horrible! I was in bed enjoying getting aquainted properly with . . .

anyway, to cut a long story short, suddenly I was whisked back to the convent, shaven head and all, and then just as I was about to burst into tears in sheer frustration, I was back here in Australia!  Then I find that somehow the whole plan and everything we've been through was wiped out, and just as suddenly reinstated!

I just can't handle this flipping between being a teenager, being an adult and then back to being a teenager!

Can I make a request of you all please? I have come to the conclusion that my age here is being manipulated by the stories EBD wrote. My guess is that the more of you reading any particular book affects what age you are all seeing me! For the next few days, to give me time to get over all these alarums could you all read mostly the early Tirol books? In need of recovery, could anything be more relaxing than being six again?!?!?

Oh I can see Jo and Frieda must go and catch up.  Please note I am not really jealous and clingy.  And i didn't marry a doctor.
