Title: The Chalet school quads
Post by Marianne on Sep 18th, 2003, 5:20pm
Harriet Josephine, Clare Margret, Bethan Cecillia and Collette Mary walked side by side with their head girl sister Felicity and there two other sister's Cecil and Phil. The four named were Joeys final addition to her long family - identical quads - and they were going to the main school, as boarders, for the first time.

'Bye girls - look after each other, Don't catch a cold Beth! Be good Clare! Don't work too hard Collette! Have a nice time Harry!' she called to each of her eleven year olds. Her comments reflected the character of each of them, Harriet was the eldest and by far the most laid back of the four, Clare was rather like Margot, naughty but highly intelligent, Beth had inherited the 'frail' genes of the family and could be relied upon to indulge in any illness going and Collette was by far the most studious and hard working of the four but had failed to inherit any real brains - her strengths lay in art. Each of the four was petite with lengths of thick blonde hair, bright blue eyes and perfect little features.

'Come along then, i'll take you stright up to matron - i'm guessing she has badges for you four since it will take a while for the teachers to know you apart.' said Felicity.

Excellent start! More. I've wondered from time to time why no one wrote the Chalet School Quads... so carry on! I can see the fun if they're all identical. But then, if the staff have known them from babyhood, won't they have found some way to tell them apart by now?

Good point Lisa,

'Oh Felcity, Matron knows who we are by now - she looked after us when we had measles!' said Harriet in an exasperated manner, she could forsee her elder sister playing a mother hen and while Beth might appreciate it she certainly did not!

'Yes - i supposes you're right.' Felicity replied thoughtfully, Look here we are...'

'Alright you three, we four are off - we know what we are doing, we arn't new you know!' Harriet said before her sister could lead them off.

(feel free to continue anyone - i havn't the time even to write a little story!)

Harriet, the leader of the four, dragged her sisters to Matron where she greeted them all by name.
'Hello girls, nice to have you as boarders finally, i've put you all in the same dorm but i can soon separate you!' said Matey, who really loved her darlings youngest daughters. The birth of the quads had been difficult as had the first hours of their lives - it had been touch and go whether Beth would survive since she was so tiny.
'Thankyou Matron! We'll be good!' said Clare in reply.

(anyone feel very, very free to continue!!! PLEASE!)
