This is totally bizarre, but Ciorstaidh asked me to write it! Not sure where I'm going with it, so please feel free to take over - I'd gladly let you.

PS No offence what so ever is meant towards Jennie or PatMac - please PM if you're not happy, and I will change it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Ooooooh….. arghhhhh…. Uh hoooom”
“What on earth is wrong with you?!” PatMac asked in amazement of Jennie.
“My tusk! My beautiful tusk! It hurts, oh it hurts so much!”
“What are you drivelling about you old fool?”
“What do think?” snarled Jennie, clearly unimpressed with the lack of sympathy being shown by her life long partner PatMac. “I have tusk ache! And it damn well hurts you old sea lion!”
“Now don’t you start calling me a sea lion – you know how I hate those smug little gits – always waving their whiskers in the air, showing off…” PatMac’s voice trailed off to a mumble as she thought of those flashy long whiskers – her own so short and stubby, they didn’t even tremble in a gale.
Moans came from Jennie’s direction again. “Can’t you shut up for 2 minutes? Go and see Ciorstaidh if it’s as bad as all that, she’s got that great crab in her rock pool, and I’m he’ll pull it out for you”
“Noooooooo!!! I can’t lose my tusk – it’s me! It’s my one redeeming feature!”
PatMac privately agreed but thought it best not to say anything.
“Then let someone look at it – maybe it just needs tweaking. The crab will do it for you. He has a very strong grip”
PatMac’s eyes glazed over at the thought of that strong grip… so firm yet so gently… ahhh, the sweet sensation…
“PatMac! PatMac! PATMAC!!!!!” With a jump she came back down to earth. “Well, what is it?” She was annoyed – that gorgeous dream all gone.
“Where is this crab then? I suppose I should go. My tusk! My poor tusk!”
“Don’t start again for pity’s sake. He’s over there”, waving a flipper towards the right of the beach they lazing on, “and be nice to him, he doesn’t like bad manners.”

Lol, it was something that was said in the Xanthe as a flamingo thread... think maybe I should stop eating those weird fruits growing outside my bedroom window on the roof.... but then life would be too boring! Very Happy

I'd suggest a plain, detoxifying diet, Kat, whilst the rest of us eat the fruit on your behalf.
