The bunny wiggled his tale. He twitched his nose. Hmmmm, Mmmmmm. This smelt good. He snuck in through the gap in the window. This was the place to be, Plotbunny heaven. He started whispering his story into the sleeping girls ear. Tonight she would dream of Joey and a Lime Green Teabag.

Catherine woke in the morning wondering what had been in the bottle she swigged before bed. Not the ususal that was for sure if she could have dreams like that. Under the bed the Plotbunny giggled. The he opened the window a little further to allow his mates in. Then they began to do what all bunnies whatever their breed, do best.

A short while later there was a whole colony of Plotbunnies under Catherine’s bed. They took it in turns to whisper into her ear at night. When there were too many of them for this they took to sitting on her computer and telling her stories while she surfed the net. Next she found one sat on the taps while she had a bath. Another found that a good time to tell his stories was while Catherine was eating. One found her coat pocket a comfortable haunt and told her stories when ever Catherine left the house. It was when Catherine found one perched on the top of the toilet when she entered the bathroom that she finally decided action must be taken.

“City of York Pest control” said the voice on the telephone.
“I seem to have a Plotbunny infestation,” complained Catherine.
“A what!” the voice sounded incredulous.
“An infestation of Plotbunnies. Will you get rid of them for me?”
“Have you been drinking dear?”
Catherine frowned; this was not how this conversation should go.
“No I haven’t. But there are Plotbunnies everywhere I go. One even tried to tell me a story while I was on the toilet this morning.”
“I think maybe you should talk to your doctor about this. Or maybe an optician or an audiologist?”
Catherine replaced the telephone receiver, hoping that Pest Control had not traced her number if that was their impression of her.

“Have you written the crossover with Aladdin yet,” asked a persistant bunny when Catherine entered the living room.
“And how about the time Con and Len decided to murder Margot?” asked another.
“We’ve worked out a schedule for you,” a third said helpfully, “We will take it in turns, an hour each to tell you the story as you write. Look at this. You could be posting about 16 stories a day and still get 8 hours sleep to dream more.”
Catherine took the sheet of paper in a daze as her legs automatically carried her to her computer. She looked at it dully. “What about eating and drinking, and bathroom breaks?” she asked.

“Oh, we’ve thought about that,” replied the bunnies, and the massed ranks of the bunnies parted to show three bunnies advancing on Catherine, each holding a long tube.
