Lisa rubbed her head and massaged her eyes. She felt as though the whole of her head was throbbing rhythmically, almost to music, though there was no music playing. What was the matter? She had no idea, but her thoughts were going round and round in her head in time to the throbbing. She was in despair, for how could she write more of her drabbles when she felt like this? Bits of the story lines were flashing up in random patterns, flitting from one plot to another. First came bits from the new Tara thread, then Real Niece. Bits of Lorna and Active Learning popped up from time to time, though she had had less to do with those, adding to the confusion in her brain. Some would say that this was nothing new, but Lisa was used to being able to distinguish between her threads. Now she seemed to be unable to think straight at all, and it was all she could do to stop herself screaming.

She took a deep breath, and tried to think. When had this started? It was so hard to concentrate. What was the trigger for this? Then the relevant piece of drabble popped into her head and she relaxed a little. Of course! She’d had the germ of an idea at the beginning of the week. An idea to wind two people up! Could this be the promised reprisal? Would her brain ever stop spinning?

Poor Lisa - wonders how she can remedy the situation, maybe writing another drabble would help?
