How and when did Francie Wilford become a prefect??

I think I confused myself.

In Ruey, Margot, Ruey and Francie are in Vb I think, because there's that argument. I *think* they all stay there through Leader and Wins The Trick. Or do they?

When it comes to Feud, Margot has skipped into VIb because she's doing so well. Unless that happened in Wins The Trick. I think it was Feud though.

Yet I seem to remember in Feud there was a mention of being a sub-prefect? Hang on.... is this the same Francie Wilford? We're also told that prefects are only chosen from VIa and VIb. Len is a sub-prefect (ha! Even Joey couldn't get her out of that, though Len wanted to) and understandable, but Francie? Who should only be in Va?

I thought I was just being confused in Feud, but here it is again in Triplets!

I'm reading Triplets now, and I was confused about the mention of Francie as a prefect. I wouldn't have thought she was the right sort of person to be a sub-prefect, I don't think her previous behaviour warranted it.

Although, at the end of Ruey, Francie has improved and there is talk about Miss Annersley seeing them as successes.
