#1: When You Wish Upon A Star Author: Eilidh, Location: North LanarkshirePosted: Sat Jun 17, 2006 8:38 pm For Mia's drabble challenge.
When you wish upon a star…
Juliet stared up at the single evening star, glittering high above the still waters of the lake, and sighed. It was so peaceful; she could almost forget everything else. Almost. Further along the lake shore, lights glistened in the windows of the Kron Prinz Karl, a painful reminder of Donal.
Of all the places in the world, he was here. And with Kay. Kay, the person she came closest to hating in the whole world, as unchristian an attitude as that was. He would never change his mind about anything while she was there.
She thought back to that meeting, Joey introducing them so innocently. To be introduced to him, as if they were strangers! It was more than she could bear. Why did he have to be here, in this perfect place? Why couldn’t she get away from him? She could tomorrow. They were going to Oberammergau. Maybe that would get him out of her mind.
“Ju! Juliet!” it was Joey’s voice, and she turned towards it.
“Coming!” she replied, and, with a last glance up at the evening star, returned to the Chalet.
Anything your heart desires,
Will come to you

Thanks, Eilidh.
#4: Author: leahbelle, Location: KilmarnockPosted: Sat Jun 17, 2006 10:13 pm I always felt so sorry for Juliet. She deserved some happiness after the way her parents treated her. Thanks for this drabble; it was lovely to read it.

#7: Author: Jennie, Location: CambridgeshirePosted: Sun Jun 18, 2006 1:12 pm I always thought that Kay was a complete and utter snob for treating Juliet as she did. I always have a soft spot for Juliet, she did so well in becoming a good person after she was given the security of a loving environment.
And I liked the way she stood up to Jo in 'Camp'
