#1: A broken night

6:24 pm — This came to me this morning when I was board in
clinic
Jeanne woke with a start as she slowly began to focus on
the objects around her she realised she was in her own bedroom in their family
home. As her senses slowly returned she realised she had been dreaming again,
although to be more accurate it had been a nightmare, the same nightmare she
always had.
She had been with the others walking up to the Swiss boarder
again, but instead of turning away the border guard had started to come towards
the path the group were hiding on. Gottfied had got the group to hide in a ditch
as the Guard had walked nearer, the nearer the Guard came the stiller they tried
to lie, but still the guard came nearer. It got to the point where they were
hardly daring to breath, but still the guard came nearer. As she watched horror
struck the guard started to walk along the side of the ditch, he walked along to
just past the point where Miss Wilson was hiding, turned around and walked back,
as he reached the official boarder he turned around and looked into the ditch,
then he drew his gun and pointed into the ditch.
Jeanne didn’t want to
think about what happened next, she always tried to wake up at that point. It
was just a dream; she was safe, wasn’t she?

7:00 pm — Oh my
word. The things that Nightmares are made of indeed. Poor Jeanne - that's
nasty.

8:56 pm — Blimey!
That must be an awful nightmare to keep having.
Joey, Maria and Nell are the only ones shown as suffering from
the after-effects of that journey but it must have been horrific for all of
them. I'm not surprised she's having nightmares.
Thanks
Vicki.
