This is my second attempt at a drabble, the first wasn't very successful so I hope this one is an improvement.
I apologize in advance for my spelling, it is not one of my strong points!

[/color]Joey Maynard sat day dreaming in the lounge of Freinsheim staring out of the window at the Rose garden dancing in the breeze. Her mind was wandering when she was disturbed by a loud hammering on the door.
The door opened and a small chestnut tousled head peered round. “Grandma, Grandma, We’re here!” and with that the tiny child threw himself onto Joey causing her to fall back in her chair.
“Hello mama,” another voice said and again Joey’s eyes returned to the door to see her eldest daughter standing there her eyes twinkling as she regarded the pair in the chair.
“Hello yourself” joey replied getting up, placing the child onto the floor and going to hug her first born. “How are you feeling today?”
“Not too bad!” Len said plonking herself down in the nearest chair and running her hands over her 7 month pregnant stomach “Jack’s been full of energy all day at the thought of seeing his Godmother and that is rather exhausting.
“Well you go and rest, and i’ll take over little Jack until our visitor turns up”
“Ok,” Len said rubbing her eyes, “I won’t be sorry for the rest, this little minx was up playing football half the night” she patted her stomach affectionately and leaning down to kiss Jack goodbye,
“Be off with you. Go home and have a rest or Reg will have something to say about it. I’m keeping Jack until Reg comes home, now go” and with that she shooed Len out of the door shutting it firmly behind her.
