#1: The Nativity Play - for Brie

4:26 pm Brie was
very happy. She had finally managed to do something instead of Joey Maynard.
Brie lived on the Gornetz Platz with her husband, her two daughters and
her new son. Her daughters were already at the Chalet School.
Brie had
had her son, William in August. The Chalet School had approached Brie to ask her
if she would be happy for her son to play baby Jesus in the Nativity Play that
year. Brie said that she would be delighted. She hoped that her son would not
cry constantly during the performance.
Joey was not at all happy when
she heard this information! She had wanted Len's new baby (whom was about to be
born) to be baby Jesus. The only problem was that the Chalet School worried that
he would be too little to be in the play.
Len didn't mind but Joey was
fuming! She wished now that she had put a stipulation in her ongoing contract
with the Chalet School that only her babies were allowed to be in the Chalet
School Nativity Play!
Brie was very happy that William would be in the
play. Her two daughters would be in the scene at the end where William was
needed so he would have two familiar faces.
The next time that Joey and
Brie met, Joey did not look very happy! Brie just shrugged her shoulders and
smiled. One nil to Brie!
