It was with some sadness that Mrs Kirkum opened the jiffy bag. She had realised vaguely that Victoria Georgina was missing, but as she often overlooked the dear child, she hadn’t worried unduly to begin with.

It was only after the envelope sat on the mantelpiece awaiting Victoria Georgina’s return home that the smell began to permeate throughout the house. Mrs Kirkum didn’t like the idea of opening Victoria Georgina’s mail, but honestly, the smell was becoming unbearable.

As Mrs Kirkum opened the envelope, a small, slightly squishy mass fell out. With a little squeak, Victoria Georgina landed on the carpet at her mother’s feet.

“Victoria Georgina!” cried Mrs Kirkum.

“Yes mummy?” replied Victoria Georgina.

“Your bedroom needs tidying,” replied Mrs Kirkum.

Just how long had Vikki been in the envelope..and I don't think I want to know what she had been doing in there to produce a smell!!!
