I decided a few old favourites needed an Extreme Makeover! Here's the first one:

Tom Gay - the problem

Tom is a classic example of what the British call a tomboy - very butch and manly! She never wears make up or femine clothes and doesn't know how to walk in high heels. The Extreme make over team decided enough was enough - it's time Tom became Thomasina!


The answer

First off all Tom went through a vigourous training of how to walk in heels as this would require a lot of practice on her part. Next we went for the wardrobe. All trousers, t-shirts and ties were ditched and replaced by floaty femine tops, skirts and dresses. Tom's hair has had extensive work done to it - extensions were added and highlights were put in. We tackled the face. My oh my, this woman had never plucked her eyebrows and let two caterpillars grow on her face! The caterpillars were trimmed and make up applied. And as with all Extreme Makeovers we gave Tom a set of white porcelain veneers for her teeth.
Goodbye Tom and hello Thomasina!

And what does Thomasina think of the result?

Madge Russell

Madge has maintained her youthful looks for many a year but she is now starting to show her age.

The outcome
The priority for Madge was a facelift. Then her face was botoxed to prevent any lines coming back! Her old fashioned hairstyle has been changed into a short spiky crop with copper and red highlights. She was also given a make-up lesson. No more rouge for this lady!

And Madge's opinion:
I'm sure my husband will love it.
