Chalet Alphabet

to be sung to the tune of 'Christmas Alphabet'

C is for the school begun by Madge and Mademoiselle,
H is for head girls, like Jo, Gisela and Grizel,
A is for the Achensee - the Tiernsee of the books,
L is for Miss Annersley’s never-bettered ‘looks’!
E is for das Engelkind, and exile through the War,
T is for the triplets, and sets of twins galore,
I is for infections, such as measles, mumps and flu,
A is for the accidents – they did have quite a few!
N is for Nell Wilson whom no sinner will e’er forget,
With Matey too, and Mary-Lou,
That’s your Chalet Alphabet!
