This is a follow on to 50th Annerversery and Trouble at the Chalet School

Hope you enjoy the first part.


It was a few days since the Chalet school girls had left the school and they had finally arrived at the airport in Quate were they were met by Robin who had followed the men to their destination.
“Robin.” Joey shouted as she ran up to her and hugged her, “What are you doing here?”
“Well I heard these people laughing and talking about the Chalet School and I decided that I would follow them all the way to their base and that is what I did.” Robin replied. “You?”
“We are trying to find out who owns the islands since those men are trying to claim it for the King of Ethiopia.” Joey replied.
“Who’s with you then?” Robin asked.
“Mary-lou who is the head teacher; Clem and Con are here plus a few of the students.” Joey replied as Mary-lou and Clem went and shook hands with Robin and they were chatting for at least ten minutes.
Amy and Becky who had joined at the start of the last term were talking with Dorris and Rose.
“Do you think they have forgotten why we are here?” Amy asked suddenly.
“Maybe they have.” Becky replied.
“I hope they haven’t.” Rose said. “Dorris go over and ask them?”
“Why me?” Dorris asked.
“Because Mary-lou is the head and you are her daughter.” Rose replied.
“Well Joey is you mother and so I think you should tell them.” Dorris giggled.
“You go.” Rose replied.
“You both should go.”Becky and Amy said together.
So both Dorris and Rose went to the grown up who saw them coming.
“Hello girls, what do you want?” Mary-lou asked.
“We were wondering when we were leaving?” Dorris replied calmly.
“We’ve just about to leave.” Joey replied. “Let go get everyone.”
They went to join the rest of the group and Robin led the way, since she knew where the men where she would show the other so that they could figure out a way to find out who really owned the island since no one seemed to know.

It's a made up island for the school to go to, if you read the first two parts it will make perfect sence. :D

Here is the next part.

Robin walked on in front with Joey and they talked about what was new with each other whilst the others walked behind them, they were all wondering where they were going.
“Where we going?” Dorris asked after a while, she was walking with her mother and Rose.
“Yeah why don’t you tell us Robin?” Mary-lou smiled wickedly. “And why don’t you tell us how you found out about Quate, I didn’t know about this island until I looked on the map, it is a small Island that apparently was used during the war.”
“Well I heard these men in Tirol talking about the Chalet school; I was on my way to surprise Joey and Miss Annersley when I decided it would be better to follow the men and see what they were doing.” She then suddenly realised that Miss Annersley wasn’t there and how had she not realised that Mary-lou was supposed to be lost in Amazon. “Mary-lou what are you doing here and where on earth is Miss Annersley.”
Joey and Mary-lou looked at each other and giggled, they couldn’t help it.
“I say.” Rose said as she looked at the bewildered Robin with an apologetic look, she realised that it would take Mary-lou and Joey a while to stop the giddiness and so she decided that she would tell Robin herself. “Well you see.” She started then realised that the Robin had known that the Chalet School was in Tirol. “Are you sure that you don’t know?”
Before the Robin could answer, Joey finally managed to stop the laughter long enough to say. “I didn’t think she would believe me when I wrote to her to tell her that the school was going back to Tirol.”
“Well Robin, I’m not sure you are going to believe me but Miss Annersley got married and is now Mrs Smith, she didn’t move when the school came here she decided to stay where she was, she said she was getting to old to move about now a days and she wanted to stay in Oberland where Bill who also married is working at the Branch there.” Rose smiled.
Robin couldn’t believe that Bill or Miss Annersley would ever want to get married. “You’re kidding right.” She looked towards Mary-lou and Joey for confirmation.
“I’m afraid they are not, plus I am the current Headmistress of The Chalet School and as such I have to ask if there is anything dangerous where we are going because if there is I’ll send Con with the pupils on to our hotel.” Mary-lou giggled.
“Well it’s not too dangerous and since I am just going to show you where the secret base is I think the girl should come then they know some history and geography that we didn’t know when we were younger.” Robin said as they turned a corner. “Plus I don’t think it’s fair on them coming all this way to be sent to the hotel when we are at the secret base.”

Mary-Lou looked at the secret base and sighed. “Well, I don’t think we should send the children into the base.”
“Neither do I.” Robin replied and then looked at Joey and smiled. “What do you think?”
“I think that Con and Clem should take them around the Island; it will be fun for them to learn all about Quate, I’m sure that they will love to learn all there is, and it means that they aren’t in any danger, though I don’t expect us to be in any danger.” Joey smiled at Clem and Con.
Suddenly a man appeared next to Joey, “What this tale I have been hearing I hope that it isn’t true?”
Joey and the rest turned around to see a tall man they all knew.
“Uncle Jack.” Mary-lou smiled as she looked at Jack. “When did you get here and how on earth did you find us?”
Jack smiled as he looked at them all. “Well I was at the San when I got told that loads of the Chalet School were going to Quate and I knew that the place was under investigation and I didn’t want you lot to get mixed into it.” Jack replied truthfully.
“What do you mean under investigation?” Joey asked.
“Well apparently, no one knows who owns the island and now a king, I think he is from Ethiopia has come and said that he owns the island and have told the British to leave within two weeks or they will force them to move and of course the English are trying to find out what is going on because they are saying they own the island and have paperwork to prove it whilst the King of Ethiopia only has this will or something that could be fake, no one knows for sure, all I know is I have booked us all on the next plane out of here which isn’t until tomorrow, so we will go to the hotel and we will stay there until it’s time to get on the plane.
“Wha......” Started Mary-Lou then stopped as she looked how serious Jack was looking.
They made their way to the hotel and spent the rest of the day hanging around and at 10pm all of them was fast asleep.

Mary-Lou was the first to wake up the next morning, she ran other to Joey and woke her up by hitting her with a pillow.
"Wake up Joey." Mary-Lou smiled as she hit Joeys head with the pillow.
"What is going on?" Joey said as she woke up with a jault.
"I was wondering if you want to go with me to see what is going on in Quate, we can't really take everyone with us." Mary-Lou smiled as she looked around the room to see if anyone else was awake.
"I would love to." Joey smiled as she felt another adventure coming on.
"Whilest you get ready I'll wake up Clem and Robin since she know more about the Island than any of us." Mary-Lou smiled. "That way Con and Jack can keep an eye on the children for us."
"I think that is a perfect plan, though I don't think Con will like being left out, she be really upset about it." Joey said. "Though I think it's in the best intrest of everyone I like you don't think this what is in the secret place is anywhere the children should go near."
Mary-Lou quickly went and woke up the other two and after about half an hour they were all ready for the adventure.

Meanwhile in the secret base, the King of Ethiopia was having an important meeting with his advisers in the Secret Base.
"As you know thanks to Tom here we have this secret base, since we have the deeds, the british had no idea about this deed and because of us they left all there equipment behind." The King smiled. "Well as you all know we need everything we can get for our experiment and if the experiment is a success we will be the envy of the whole world."
"Three cheers for the King of Ethiopia." Shouted Tom. "He promised his people when he got into power that the days of them being poor were over and once he has sold his experiment to the people who bid the most it will be over."
"Yeah once we find out if this beam works we will be in great power, this beam can be used for anything, from homes to weapons and all these stolen ideas will be great for money too." The King of Ethiopia laughed.

As everyone was leaving the room the King called back Tom he waited for the last person to close the door.
"What is going on with Sophie?" He asked after awhile
"She's been staying with this girl called Mary and her family, we think she likes the school and that she told them about our plans and we think that is why the school know of our plans." Tom sighed.
"Well they don't know about the painting that we are going to take to our home in Ethiopia." The King laughed. "Infact the only person that know about this is you."
"What do you mean?" Tom was confused.
"Well there are some rare painting around here, everyone thought that they were destroyed quite a long time ago but it turns out that they were sent here so that nothing could happen to them." The King explained.
"So what you going to do with the pictures?" Tom asked.
"I'll keep some and then sell the rest." The King replied.
"Where are they?" Tom really wanted to see them.
"I'll show you." The King smiled. "Follow me."
The King took Tom to where the pictures where and Tom was suprised to see that there was a picture of the King of Belsornia and a scientist and there was also one with the Princess of Belsornia and a girl, it looked like the girl was good friends with the Princess.
"These are the private collection of the Ex King of Belsornia." The King smiled. "They vanished during the war, many people thought that they had been destroyed but as you can see they haven't."
Tom couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Meanwhile Robin, Clem, Joey and Mary-Lou was walking down the street towards the secret base.
"How are we going to get in?" Clem asked.
"Well we could just walk in." Mary-Lou suggested.
"Yeah like they are just going to sit there and let us walk into the base." Joey laughed. "I think there must be a way in that they don't know about otherwise the British would never have left since they know that the deed was stolen as it was order hidden by the goverment."
"I think I might just know a way to get into the base." Robin smiled. "I saw a british solder sneak out one night through this place and I'm sure no one knows about it."
"Well I think you should show us." Mary-Lou smiled.
Robin showed them the secret entrance.
"Well here start another adventure." Robin laughed.
"What are you laughing about?" Joey asked.
"Well how come you and Mary-Lou always fall into adventure." Robin giggled.
Clem smiled. "You know what Robin I've been wondering about that too."
"Well we don't go looking for them." Mary-Lou snapped.
"No we don't." Joey agreed.
"Well it just seems odd." Clem smiled. "But lets not argue we have loads to do now, we need to stick together if we want to be able to get the deed to the Island back to who it belongs to."
"Well who does it really belong to?" Mary-Lou asked.
"Well it did belong to Belsornia." This voice from behind them said.
The girls looked around and saw this man in British army uniform.
"You must be the Chalet School lot." He smiled. "My name is Ben Simpson."
"Hello Ben." Clem smiled. "What do you mean about this island belonging to Belsornia."
"Well all this belonged to Belsornia but they give it to Britain for the Scientists to use." Ben replied. "And when they decided to do away with Belsornia we keep the Island and everything was great until the Ethiopians came and said they owned the Island, we suspect that there are some valuable items that they are after, otherwise they would have sent more than 10 people here if they were staying."
"I agree." Joey smiled.
"Well since we are here we might as well sneak in and see what is going on." Mary-Lou suggested. "You coming Ben."
"I might as well." Ben smiled.
And with that they went into the secret passage wondering what exciting things they would find.

Jack Maynard woke up and saw that Joey, Clem, Mary-Lou and Robin had disapeared to say that he was angry was an understatement, but he didn't really want to go and find them since that would mean that Con would be on her own with all the children and he wasn't going to abandon her with all the children and he was sure that was why Joey and Mary-Lou had decided to take Clem and Robin with them, he was also sure that Con wouldn't be happy about being left behind and probably would want to go look for them, but he knew he would have to stop her since she was now responsible for all the child whilest the others where away, he thought this was going to be interesting, he sat down and started to read for awhile before the other awoke.

I was also wondering if anyone can help me with a name for the series I've been trying to think of a name for the series but I can't think of anything.

The next part.

Con woke up and looked at the clock it was 7am, she got up and got washed and dressed before looking in on the students, she was releaved to see that they were all still asleep, she was wondering why her mother hadn't woken her up when it seems she had woken up Clem, Robin and Mary-Lou, she decided she would go downstair to the hotel lobby and see if they were there, just as she was deciding what she should do there was a knock on her door.
"Come in." She shouted.
The door openned and in walk her dad.
"Hey Papa." Con smiled. "What do you want?"
"I just wanted to tell you that Joey and the others have gone out and so your in charge." He wanted to go and catch upto Joey, Clem, Robin and Mary-Lou before they did anything stupid.
"What about you?" Con asked.
"Well I was going to get the others." Jack replied truthfully.
"But what about the children?" Con looked at her father, "I can't look after them all on my own we need two adults at all time." Con was wondering if her mother had taken the others so that her father would have to stay.
Jack looked at Con and sighed, he had really wanted to go and stop the others from doing anything dangerous but he knew he couldn't leave Con with all the children on her own.

Meanwhile Sophie and Mary had woken up and was talking to each other waiting for the teacher to tell them when they could get up and have breakfast.
"I feel like going to the base and giving my dad and his mates a piece of my mind." Sophie suddenly told Mary as she read a bit of the books.
"I feel like going too, we might be able to help them get the base back." Mary smiled as she looked around the room.
"Well what you waiting for." Sophie said as she got out of bed and went and got washed and dressed.
Mary started to do the bed when Sophie went into the bathroom and got washed and dressed as soon as Sophie had finished they switched so that Mary could go and get washed and dressed.
As soon as they were ready they went and snuck into the hotel kitchen and took some food before they went and snuck out of the hotel.

Meanwhile Con and Jack were still talking about what they should do with the students.
"I think we should have breakfast." Jack smiled.
"I think that is a great idea." Con smild.
"I'll go and see if they are serving yet." Jack looked at Con before leaving the room.
Con smiled and made the bed whilest waiting for Jack to come back.
Jack came back into the room and smiled at Con. "Okay we can have breakfast now."
Con smiled as she went and woke everyone up the last room she went to was Mary's and Sophie's but when there was no answer when she knocked on the door, she decided that she would enter the room, she wasn't expecting to find that Mary and Sophie had both gone, she rushed back to Jack and told him what had happened.
"I think I'll have to go look for them." Jack sighed.
"What's wrong Uncle Jack, Aunt Con?" Doris asked as she walked into the room with Rose just behind her.
"I thought we told you not to call me by my first name when were at school." Con smiled.
Dorris blushed. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay." Con smiled as she give Rose and Doris a hug.
"Girls, can you help Con look after the other whilest I go sort something out?" Jack asked the girls.
"Of course we will." Rose smiled at her dad. "I'll look after my older sister and Doris will help won't you."
"Of course I'll help Aunt Con." Doris smiled at Jack.
"Thanks girls." He smiled and then turned to look at Con. "I won't be long."

Meanwhiles Sophie and Mary had made it too the secret base where they met a woman.
"Your Princess Elisaveta aren't you." Mary shreaked. "Weren't you at the Chalet School once."
"Yeah I'm Princess Elisaveta." The woman smiled. "And how do you know that?" She was shocked.
"Well we go there." Mary smiled. "And your a legend at the school."
"What you doing here then?" Elisaveta asked.
"Well where going to the secret base, my dad works for the King of Ethiopia but I want to try and turn him good." Sophie sighed. "What he is doing is wrong."
"Yeah it is." Elisaveta sighed, "What's in there belongs to my father and so now belongs to me, I am going there now."
"Why don't you join us." Sophie smiled. "I have a way of getting in there."
"I will do." Elisaveta smiled. "I'm well you know who I am and you are."
"I'm Sophie." Sophie replied.
"And I'm Mary." Mary smiled.
Sophie, Mary and Princess Elisaveta smiled as they walked down the street, Sophie was glad that they had an adult with them because now no one would stop them.
They soon arrived at the Secret Base and Sophie confidently walked upto the man at the gate, Mary and Elisaveta wondered what was going on.
"What do you want?" The man asked Sophie.
"Well I told my dad I was bringing a friend for him to meet." Sophie lied. "This is the teacher I said I'll bring."
"That's okay." The man smiled at Sophie and then openned the gate. "In you go."
Sophie smiled as she skipped in with Mary, Elisaveta was just behind them watching them, as soon as the were out of hearing range of the guard Sophie smiled.
"That was easy." She laughed. "Where do we go now?"
"We need to get the deed so we can get these man out of here, without the deed they can't stay because they would be allowed to." Princess Elisaveta smiled.

Mary-Lou was wishing that she had stayed in the Amazon Jungle for some reason she thought it would mean less adventure when she decided she was giving up her job to become a teacher. “Jo if I didn’t know you, I would say you couldn’t stay away from adventures.” Mary-Lou grinned.
“I like that, who was the one that decided they were going into the Amazon and then came back with a box that has got us into this mess.” Joey Maynard laughed and then when she saw that Mary-Lou was going red. “Well at least I know what I can use for my next book and boy am I glad that this has happened do you know I haven’t written a book that has been published for 5 years now, nothing funny seemed to happen with you lot gone.” Joey sighed. “That’s was one reason I begged for you lot back, your wild ways where so good I had to use them in my books, and wait until I write about this in my next book.”
“We weren’t as wild as you, we didn’t run off anywhere.” Mary-Lou said when she remember Con telling her that story, she turned to Clem. “I remember me telling you I was mad to think school would be rubbish and I wouldn‘t like it.” Mary-Lou laughed.
“Mary-Lou did you really say that?” Joey asked for she had never heard about this before.
Mary-Lou blushed and said meekly. “I was only 10 and it was before I came to the Chalet School, it was when I found out I was leaving Polquenel.”
“I never knew that.” Joey laughed.
“Well I didn’t think anyone needed to know.” Mary-lou looked at Clem. “wait until I get you back.”
“I think that we should stop talking now.” Ben said as he realised that he could hear some voices coming from somewhere. “I think were nearly there.” Ben smiled then suddenly looked alarm. “Hang on a minute, I think we are at the wrong places, I can here two little girls voices, maybe we took a wrong turn.”
“I didn’t see any..” Mary-Lou started and then turn to look at them with a worried expression on her face. “Hang on a minute I think that Sophie and Mary in there with someone else, I can’t make out who though.”
“It’s Elisaveta.” Joey smiled. “But how on earth did they get in, surely the guards wouldn’t.” Joey suddenly remembered. “You don’t think Sophie is leading them into a trap do you Mary-Lou?”
“No I don’t, I think she’s on our side now, I just think she was scared of her dad and her sister.” Mary-Lou replied.
“What the!!!!!!!!!” Ben suddenly said as the others turned around, they couldn’t believe what was there, and they could guess why the Ethiopia now had come and it seemed like they had box some of it up, but there was still a lot there, “I hope your girls can get that deeds, I’m going to show this to the Major.” Ben still couldn’t believe what they had found. “Come on I can’t let you stay here you never know when the Ethiopians will be back.”
Ben couldn’t have realised how right he had been if they had stayed just a couple of minutes more they would have been caught they had just left the room in time and made it back through the secret passageway, they had no idea why Ben hadn’t seen them before but well maybe it was because they had just brought them there, who knows but anyway they would have to get the deeds back fast or the Ethiopian people would be taking things that wasn’t there’s, Mary-Lou wished now she had just left the box in the Amazon but she hadn’t and she know she couldn’t have done so either in case it had something important for her or her mother.
“Penny for them.” Clem said suddenly which made Mary-Lou jump.
“I was just thinking if I had just left the box in the Amazon this would never have happened.” Mary-Lou sighed.
“But if you hadn’t I would have thought you were ill, you were always butting in on things that didn’t concern you, so this time when it did you had to grasp the chance with both hands.” Joey laughed.
Robin who had stood by Clem silently looked “And what about you Joey Maynard?”
“Oh okay so I was one too, but I couldn’t help it.” Joey giggled as if she was a little school girl.
Once they were back outside the base Ben left them and went off down one of the streets, whilst the women went to sit on two benches near by to see if they could see if Sophie, Mary and Elisaveta would make it out with the deeds or if they would need help.

Jack had looked everywhere but couldn’t find anyone, if he had stayed a couple of minutes more he would have seen them coming out of the secret passage though saying that, I don’t think he would as Ben had checked to make sure the coast was clear before he had allowed everyone out, so Jack had decided that he would go back and help Con it was okay Rose and Doris saying they would help but he didn’t want to leave them to long because they could get bored of helping and just stopped though, he didn’t need to worry about that because when he got back Rose and Doris was still helping Con who looked worried.
“I take it no look then?” Con said as he shook his head.
“Anyway what’s wrong here?” Jack asked since the look on his daughter face.
“Mary and Sophie are missing and so is Princess Elisaveta, so I am hoping they are with her and Joey but I don’t think that them three are, maybe they have gone for a walk who knows.” Con sighed. “Anyway Papa come and have some of this lovely food.”
“I will I’m staving.” Jack smiled.
