Standing at the door of the church her heart leapt into her mouth. Never had she imagined another man standing here by her side holding her arm. In her dreams it had always been Dick there.

As the wedding march began she set off down the aisle, the smile on her face masking the tears. She was happy, of course she was. She knew she loved him and that they’d be happy together but never, knowing full well her father’s arm could not be there to lead her, had she thought her twin would be absent on her wedding day.
