I must apologise for this. These two drabbles were PM'd to me last week while I was away. I read them when I arrived home, thought 'Oh yes, I'll post them on Saturday' and then completly forgot and as I didn't have another PM, I didn't look at my inbox to get reminded. Embarassed

I apologise to all of you, but especialy to Chair and Jonty. Embarassed

I am going to spree now, just to put each of the drabbles onto a seperate post.

This is Chair's drabble.

We were called to my grandmother’s bedside today - she doesn’t have much longer to live. She was such a wonderful woman, my grandmother. She always had time for anyone who needed a shoulder to cry on.

She looks so peaceful lying there. She calls us over one by one, to speak to us. When she comes to me, she says ‘Charlie, named after your father. Charles and Sarah always wanted a boy and they had their wish after six girls. Look after your family.’

After speaking to the youngest, Josephine Margaret Bettany smiled and took her last breath.
