MWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!
The CBB -> St Clare's House

#1: MWAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Author: Xerakovia PostPosted: Tue May 31, 2005 9:36 pm

The two CBB-ers met at the rendezvous point.
“Have you got your torch” whispered one, nervously.
“Yes, and a spare battery. And a couple of apples that I stole from the kitchen, and a meat pie and a fruit pie. And I have two vests on, just in case we need to make a rope.” The elder CBBer stifled a giggle.
“I’m glad you’re a good CS girl” she managed in a half whisper. “But I’m not sure that the window is quite that high”.

The younger CBBer laughed and was instantly shushed. They knew that Kat was absent from home with her new job but they weren’t sure how easy it would be to get into her house without waking up half of Wales.
“So where did you say she kept her computer?” asked the elder CBBer, who was trying to work out which room would be most accessible from the garden.
“Dunno” said the hunger. “Her bedroom?”
“Okaayy” said the elder, with patience waning. “And that would be?”
“Ummm” replied the younger one shrugging her shoulders, under the misapprehension that she could be seen on this cloudy night.

As the last light went off in Kat’s house, the two CBBers removed themselves from the hedge and carefully crept towards the house.
“What was that?” asked the younger one in a half whisper, half squeak.
“oh probably justa bat” said the elder. “You get them in Wales!”
‘Just a bat!’ thought the younger one, and shuddered.

Within moments the elder yet seemingly more sprightly CBBer was up on the window ledge peering through a window.
“I see it” she said, wobbling precariously on the ledge. “Kat’s computer! It’s there and it’s on!” she whooped, forgetting the need to be quiet.

Suddenly a light went on in another room. The two CBBers froze, one behind a nearby gnome, the other on the ledge.
“Blasted cats” came a voice from the window, and the light was off once more.

After what seemed like hours, not the five minutes which really passed, the elder CBBer moved her cramped limbs and signalled to the younger. The two women carefully eased open the not quite shut window and surveyed the room in front of them. The younger CBBer attempted to hoist herself up in a show of agility, but sadly failed and dropped back down into the flower bed. Her friend laughed and carefully used the pipes at the side of the window, to climb in.

Once inside she gave her friend a hand. The younger CBBer by this time had defeated her pride, but made a mental note to include some sort of rope ladder in her emergency provisions pack for their next expedition.

The two girls carefully made their way to Kat’s computer which was glowing away to itself. Finally the secret would be revealed. With one click of the mouse, the desktop was revealed. With a double click on the ‘My Documents’ folder, the secret was theirs to share.

Within moments they saw the file they had been searching for. It’s name began ‘Anonybunny’ followed by the secret name of the author.

“At last we know the secret” said the younger CBBer, forgetting to moderate her tones.
“They couldn’t keep it hidden for long” grinned the elder lady wickedly.

The sounds of mocking laughter rang through the country of Wales

Now that would be telling!

The two CBBers, both pleased with their discovery, sat eevilly cackling to one another.
“We can gloat to our hearts content now” said the younger one excitedly.
The elder CBBer looked at her sternly.
“But what about Uto?” she asked.
“I’m not scared of him” bragged the younger. “He hasn’t got me yet!”
“He got Kat” the elder pointed out.
“Yes, but she’s always gloating. Have you seen how often she posts on Jack – just to gloat?”
The elder CBBer thought carefully. She wished that they had been successful in opening the story on Kat’s computer, but sadly it was both password protected and encrypted. She sighed.
The younger CBBer was busy updating her Live Journal and didn’t notice much until she felt a few irritating pokes in her side.
“Well, what do you want?” she asked rudely.
“I have an idea” explained the elder lady.
Her companion rolled her eyes in a bored fashion and prepared herself for a carefully planned plan. The idea of spontaneity seemed a rather foreign concept to her friend.
With a map and a diagram laid out on the floor the pair at last agreed upon their next step. They wanted to acquire a transcript of the story, to see exactly what would happen next. There was very little use in going to Anonybunny themselves, instead they went on the internet to search for a train to Staines.

Is the fact that they are looking for a train to Staines relevant in any way? Confused

The inquisitive pair walked out of the station building in Staines, having suffered a long and tedious train journey. Neither had remembered a book and as a consequence had to suffer each others company for three hours and six changes of train.
“Ok” said the elder, “who are we here to visit?”
“Vikki” replied the younger CBBer smirking to herself.
“But we’re in Staines?” asked her friend quizzically.
The younger CBBer looked at her questioningly, wondering why she was asking.
“Vikki lives in Windsor you moke!” retorted the elder.
The younger CBBer’s face fell. She knew the geography sometimes failed her but she really wouldn’t live it down this time.

She solemnly returned into the station and queued up at the ticket booth.
“How do we get to Windsor?” she asked looking glum.

I know! It's a sad sad tale!

“Oh it’s easy” said the ticket issuer, full of glee. He loved it when people got lost and confuddled. It made him feel so important.
After a bemusing five minute explanation the two weary CBBers left the station building and headed out onto the platform. By this time tempers were fraying and the younger CBBer knew that coffee was the only solution to her increasing tiredness and irritability. The elder CBBer did not think coffee was such a good plan. She had high hopes of the younger’s stamina flailing and her falling asleep as she was often found to do in the afternoons.

The younger CBBer was soon bouncing merrily after the caffeine hit in and the elder sighed and went into the shop to buy something to relieve her situation. A hammer? No, sadly there were no instruments of death. Sleeping tablets? No, not that fortunate. She settled for a cup of coffee and some smarties. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, she thought to herself.

Soon the two CBBers were bouncing away on the seat on the platform, much to the amusement of the normal people walking past. The younger CBBer was yibbling quite contently to herself, whilst her friend (for their mutual caffeine high had saved their friendship) sat quietly for a few minutes before jumping up to check the train times, lament her forgotten handbag (for she always carried a book in her handbag!) nd then would settle down once more looking suspiciously around her.

This performance went on for sometime, until at last a train pulled up to the platform. With a whoooop and a wheeeee the two CBBers boarded the train and began to plot evilly of the many ways they could torture Vikki into telling them the rest of Anonybunny’s story.

I hope they are on the right train going in the right direction.

Not that I don't have faith in CBBers of course!
