Happy Birthday Pimmeth Wink

‘Oh, oh oh, bother, blither and beeswax!!’
‘What, who and polish?’ came the uninterested reply from the other occupant in the room.
‘It’s Pimmy’s birthday tomorrow, and I do so want to write her something humorous, amoozing and luffly, but I have no ideas and I’m quite dreadful at such things. Oh woe!!’
‘Oooooooooh Pimmy, I luff her muchly.’ And Xenophon, for it was he, bounced in an excited fashion. ‘Is she really old??’
‘Probably,’Ally replied, studiously ignoring the fact she was older. ‘Anyways, I have precisely, ‘write a drabble for Pim, it must be shiny’ written down and no more. I think I might sigh………ooooh’ and Ally hastened to write the words *le sigh* in the notes section. ‘Can’t forget that’ she mused.
From this humble beginning the floodgates opened and a few moments later Ally sat back and admired her list with great satisfaction. It was full of such words such as *wibble* *yibble* *pimmy under the chair smilie* *laffing lots smilie* and *patting gempie*. It had been neatly written out in alphabetical order, cross-referenced, put on index cards and an excel spreadsheet and finally tied with a pretty pink bow, it really was a list to be proud of.

Then Ally glanced at the other sheet of paper (the one bearing ‘write a drabble for Pim….) its dazzling whiteness temporarily blinded her.
‘Oh bubble, beetroot and batteries.’ Ally despaired (*le despair* got added to the list and another hour was wasted on reorganising that) How did her friends manage to write such shiny things?
For a few moments she seriously considered adopting the guise of ‘Alberta the coot fluffy plot bunneh’. After all she had perfected adoring looks and her hair was rather fluffy right now. But no, she was resolute, it was Pimmy’s birthday and that was important, so she should try!!! (and Pimmy was shiny enough to be kind even if Ally wroted drivell ~ oh see my cunning rider)

Suddenly she remembered her companion, who by now had fallen asleep through sheer boredom. Poking him awake, she assumed her best authoritative voice, gave Xeno a look for added measure and the proceeded to nag him into helping. On other occasions like this, Xeno would have swiftly bundled Satsuma back into her box, knowing it to be the safest place for her, however, he had said earlier that he luffed Pimmy, so he thought he should help. ‘Write about Charley’ he muttered, then promptly went back to sleep.

Oooooooooooooooh Ally thought, that’s rather clevair acshkully. After all Charley does all the writing, he never gets written about. And so it began.

One day, rather early in the morning Charley awoke and decided to have an adventure. This adventure would be very exciting he had determined, as being a bunneh of plot he could write his own stories!!!

So of course his first visit was to the local eateries, for choccy coated carrots and dandelion and burdock. Having fed until he was fat, it was rather a struggle to move, but this did not deter him. With one poof his ultimate desire had been granted and had booked himself in at the Bunny Spa and was enjoying its luxurious comforts. He was able to have saunas and massages, and then play games with like minded fellow bunnies, which ended up with him madly bouncing on Ally and Nell, a lot. (but at least he shed the excess weight quickly)

It was all rather grand while it lasted, but as it grew dark he began to miss his Pim, so with one hop, he was back in his Gatty homeland, and snuggling up to Pim.

‘Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,’ Pim was heard to cry, as Charley began to share some new found ideas with her.

‘Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,’ Ally was heard to cry, when she discovered her cunning plan had worked.

Especially liked the gift-wrapped list. It does sound like a work of art! But I don't know if I'd rely on Charley to deliver it. ROFL
