She processed up the aisle, the beautiful singing of the choir adding to the solemnity of the occasion. She still wondered desperately if she was doing the right thing; it wasn't too late to back out. She thought of her family, after the reception she wouldn't be seeing them for a long time.

Her hair felt strange, this new style was so different, and the long dress seemed so awkward, clinging to her, hampering her movements.

Here she was at the chancel steps. The Bishop seemed to know her thoughts for he paused for a short time. Then, seeing her smile, he began the ceremony that made Margot Maynard a bride of Christ.

A lovely idea. A Postulant would wear a bride's dress and veil for the clothing cermony and her hair would be cut afterwards before she was robed in a Novice's dress.
