Note: For this, it's necessary for you to have read either The CS at Peace (the story I put up here) or Margia's Sorrow from the FOCS mag, as otherwise you will have no idea what's happening!

The Australian’s eyes desperately searched the Sale crowds for the face he had last seen months earlier. A hand lightly touched his arm and he turned, meeting a startled gaze.
“Captain Reynolds?”
His voice revealed his surprise. “You know me?”
“Margia showed me your picture.” The woman smiled. “I’m Elisaveta.”
Peter Reynolds nodded. “I know. The Crown Princess.”
Elisaveta’s eyes were eager. “Does Margia know you’re here?”
The man shook his head. “I had to tell her myself. A wire would have been no use. You can’t say anything in them.”
Nodding, the former princess pointed towards the toy stall…

Margia handed over the entry fee for Tom’s dolls’ house and studied the long list.
“Everyone gave at least one name,” offered Tom herself.
“Which was your suggestion, Tom?” asked Margia, hoping for a hint, but the boyish girl only gave a maddening grin.
Sighing, Margia studied the list, but before she could choose, a male voice interrupted her.
“Have you chosen one, darling?”
Margia froze, pencil hovering above the page, unable even to turn and see the man standing behind her. The fourth-formers stared as tears flowed from Margia’s eyes and Peter held her to him as she wept.

The Chalet School rejoiced in the news that Captain Peter Reynolds was to marry his musical fiancé. The ceremony would take place in the Armiford church where Simone de Bersac had wed and Stephen Maynard had been baptised, for both Margia and Peter were Catholic. Mrs Stevens’ own veil would be used for the occasion and the dress was made from the new silk parachute that had saved Peter’s life. The school’s flower beds provided the beautiful bouquet, tied with a length of blue ribbon, and Peter had the rings his parents had left him, so that tradition was kept.

The Quintette acted as bridesmaids, Cornelia coming from Ireland and the others getting leave to attend, although Amy could not leave Bletchley Park for the ceremony. Mr Stevens gave away his elder daughter, and if there were tears in his eyes, only Margia saw them.
“Do you take this man… this woman…?”
The ceremony was quickly over and the register signed. Rationing made a wedding feast impossible, but the school had done their best and no one complained, least of all the newlyweds. As they left for their honeymoon, the happy couple were cheered to the echo by the school.
