#1: Books: A New Flavouring for Pies Author: jennifer, Location: TaiwanPosted: Mon Dec 24, 2007 6:05 am — This short story takes place after Highland Twins.
The juniors are mad at Floppy Bill, for various offense, and Flora vows
revenge. Fiona tells an old family story of culinary revenge, and
Flora, inspired, spikes Florence's shepherd's pie (in the domestic
science class) with cod liver oil. The dish is served to the staff
table and Flora confesses, getting into trouble.
What do you think of this story? Does it carry on well from the
plot lines in Highland Twins? Does Flora's behaviour match her
personality in the previous book?

Highland Twins. I think it does remain true to the characters
especially with Flora's thirst for revenge and ability to hold a grudge
and I was glad to see more of the aftermath of Betty leaving especially
Floppy Bill's reaction when she had time to cool down a little
