Does anyone know whether there has ever been a fan fiction, serious or otherwise, of Tom's response when she was told she had to do another house in Fete?

I am just wondering how she squirmed out of it, or did she meekly agree to make another house?

Can't remember reading anything about it.

I should imagine Tom was OK about making an extra house given that the money was going to a good cause, though, because she always struck me as being a really nice person Very Happy

. Or at least too polite to say no! It was a bit off that Elisaveta (was it Elisaveta?) just took it for granted that she wouldn't mind and would have the time, though!

I can imagine her saying "oh OK but it will take a while" and then 10 years later Veta is still waiting. Very Happy

But I can also see Miss Annersley taking Veta to one side and saying "you know the school got a tad carried away in making that promise. Tom's really busy etc etc." and hopefully Elizaveta didn't push the issue.
