Joey meets her in Future, living in the old building of the Chalet. But who is she?! I vaguely remember an Irma alright. Did she marry someone related to Paula von Rothenfels? I actually thought that Irma was Paula's sister?! *very confused*

I've not read Future, but there is both an Irma von Rothenfels and Irma Ancozsky in the Tirol books Confused

The Irma who is living in the old school building in Future is the Irma Ancozsky who was at the school in Tyrol. Her married surname is von Rothenfels.

As far as I know (I've only got the pb but don't think it's one that's badly cut) she (or rather her husband) is no relation of the Irma von Rothenfels who was the von Eschenaus' cousin and had a sister called Paula - it's just very, very confusing that EBD chooses to use the same surname!

It's one of those names like Daphne Russell, that she just likes and so uses more than once. Grrrr.

Irma was friends with Alixe Von Elsen and co. She was involved in Baby Voodoo so is definately at the CS by New House. I think this is where she is mainly mentioned in the Tyrol books, though she may get a mention in Jo Returns...
There is definately no mention of her (or her husband) being related to Paula von Rothenfels in any of the books I've read.

Does Daphne Russell get used more than once? There's Peggy's friend...who's the other?

I think there's two Yvette Merciers or Suzanne Merciers, I don't remember which. One in Tyrol, and one in the Late Swiss Era of Senility.

Not quite, there's a Daphne Bettany (Dick and Mollie's youngest).

Yes, a second Suzanne, who appears in Adrienne and Prefects.
