What is Elfie's real name? I can't remember.

This is one of my favourite groups of friends. They all seem so "equal" as I know others have said, but it's true. I always felt sorry for Julie being left behind in school on her own after she gets peritonitis, she seemed so lonely.

I love this group they all get on so well and don't seem to have any one leader like 'The Gang'. They seem to have their adventures together without anyone special getting into more trouble or more special priviliges than anyone else.

I liked this group as well. I remember being introduced to the group when the twins, Fiona and Flora joined the School in 'The Highland Twins of the Chalet School'.

I have to say that the Armishire period of the school is probably one of my least favourite parts - and I'm not entirely sure why. Most of the characters in the books tend to blend into one for me and I can't really remember any individuals as easily as when the school was in Austria or Switzerland. I would say that while I don't dislike Bride and her friends, they're not one of my favourite groups in the series either.
